Our wedding day was everything we hoped for, and your ceremony was a true highlight. It felt so personal, full of warmth and energy, and most importantly, it felt just like us.

Everyone knows that at weddings, most people want to get through the ceremony and get to the fun bit – but our ceremony was the fun bit and it really felt like everyone connected to this, not just us. Everyone has told us how amazing the ceremony was and how much love they felt in the room.

Finding a celebrant felt a bit like online dating—swiping through endless profiles that didn’t quite fit. There were some non-suitables along the way, but then we met you! Your authenticity and down-to-earth nature sealed the deal for us instantly.

You guided us through every step, from structuring the ceremony and calming our nerves to giving valuable feedback on our vows and Liam’s speech. You even offered to help with the guest book—such a thoughtful touch. Honestly, we think you could charge more for the incredible service you provide!
We only wish you could have stuck around for a drink!

We hired Paul for our wedding at Manchester Hall, after our first meeting Paul wrote a script which we wanted altering slightly, Paul was more than happy to make any changes we wanted and kept in constant contact throughout the booking up until the day.
On the day, Paul ensured everything went to plan and considering the nerves before hand, after, the ceremony was our favourite bit. Excellent and highly recommended.

The entire experience of planning our wedding ceremony was a dream!

JOY! If we were to pick one word to sum up our ceremony, in fact our day, it would be JOY!
Finally deciding to get married after 19 years, I don’t think either of us realised what it entailed or what we were taking on. Finding a celebrant was important and, slightly, daunting wondering how this person would speak for and about us, but we clicked with you, Paul, from the get-go.

You immediately grasped that our focus was celebrating our love with those people most important to us and to that end, you listened and understood our path together. But keeping it fun.
We soon realised that you could guide us down the path of a ceremony that spoke about the joy of celebrating love, whether it be out love for each other or for those that we wanted to be part of our day.

Your ideas for readings and keeping the ceremony fun were brilliant and everyone, without exception, said it was the most joyous wedding they had attended.

Paul prepared a wonderful bespoke ceremony for our renewal of vows. We had several preparatory meetings via Zoom and exchanged multiple emails to refine the script and involve other family members in the event. Paul made excellent suggestions and prepared everything perfectly.
He was extremely accommodating and helpful in assisting with elements of the event making it memorable and relaxed for us.

We hired Paul for our wedding ceremony at the Synchnant Pass Country House near Conwy in North Wales.
We met up a couple of times with Paul to ensure he had the facts correct for the script and he also helped us write our own vows.
Paul made it so special on the day and captured the story of our journey perfectly in front of our guests! Along with our guests we laughed and we cried and we have now captured lovely memories of our special day.
We would highly recommend Paul as a celebrant for your wedding, he made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. And the icing on the cake was hiring his wife Helen as well who sang so beautifully throughout the ceremony. Brilliant!!

We asked Paul to officiate as celebrant for our UK wedding as we were already legally married abroad. We wanted a traditional wedding ceremony in front of our friends and family but weren’t sure how to go about achieving this ourselves as it was such an important part of the day. We wanted it to feel personal and we certainly didn’t want it to be ‘stiff’.
As we live abroad, Paul met with us online a number of times to get to know us and from this was able to prepare a script which told our story exactly the way we wanted. It was the perfect mix of sentiment and humour. He offered advice and ideas to help with the flow of the service and we even decided to include a naming ceremony for our baby boy, something we had not previously considered, but something which made the day even more special for our family.
Our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the ceremony. There were both (happy) tears and laughter in abundance and we will have lasting memories of these moments for life.
We would definitely recommend Paul if you are looking for someone to provide the personal touch to your wedding ceremony.

Naming ceremony, Wythenshawe
We loved working with Paul for our daughter’s naming ceremony this summer. We really appreciated the time taken to meet with us in person at the venue, to get to know us and our story and for the gentle guidance he offered to help shape our ceremony.
Paul had great attention to detail to make sure it ran completely smoothly on the day - from managing the music selection to printing out everyone’s promises.
He even liaised directly with the guideparents to gather their promises so they were a surprise to us on the day.

We are so grateful to Paul for creating a wonderful naming ceremony and an opportunity for our family and friends to formally welcome our baby to the world.
As well as providing his own invaluable guidance, Paul incorporated our own ideas and preferences to construct what became the centrepiece of a memorable event.
Leading the ceremony, Paul was warm and charming and really set the tone for a convivial and friendly atmosphere in which all felt included.
Afterwards we received many glowing comments, including from guests who had never been to a naming ceremony before. It all made for a very special day and one that will be a talking point in our family for years to come.
